and hairdressing products." For more than 45 years Alberto Culver has been
market leader in its category and the market is growing internationally.
Advertising can stimulate sales but how do you demonstrate the products
in action and show the end result benefits to new marketing groups worldwide?
That was the challenge faced by the V05 UK marketing people. Their solution?
A multicamera video shoot, a bunch of attractive young models and creative
hairstyling by a celebrity hairdresser.
Filmed in Alberto Culver's own head office salon, the video focused on different
styling categories and individual products. The objective was to educate
marketing colleagues worldwide and instruct local trade customers in the
use of V05 products and how to achieve their styling opportunities. The
video was supported by the V05 International Product Guide and training
workbook and was distributed across Asia, Australia, South America, Scandinavia
and South Africa.
