Mighty Media has always invested heavily in production
equipment. By owning everything from shooting kits to edit suites we are
able to offer much better value for money than our competitors.
When Mighty Media purchased our first video camera it cost more than an upmarket
house. Our edit suite consisted of a large room full of massive tape decks,
complex control panels and lots of fan noise. And scripts were written on
typewriters. Now, equipment costs have come down, the entire editing process
can take place on one computer and the same machine can be used for writing
scripts.
We were also early adopters of non-linear editing. Non-linear editing is
computer based editing that provides a far higher degree of flexibility.
By having the material on a computer we can also perform complex post-production
techniques - multilayering, chroma-keying and 3D transitions for example
- far more quickly and at a much higher quality than ever before.
We continue to invest in both hardware and software on a regular basis and
consistently aim to provide our clients with the latest technological advances.
